Could someone from Colgan post this memo and verify it's validity. If this is true, let's hope the media has a field day with it. It's time the truth gets known about Colgan.
 
Kinda shocking that a company that just had a bunch of bad press would issue this. It really shows there true colors! Wow
 
Don't worry, ALPA is now on the property and they will make it all better!
 
Problem is there are a lot of D-bags out there openly talking about bangin out fatigued just to get a day off or shorten their day. Happens all the time. Mostly with the FA's though but sadly enough with a lot of pilots too.

2. If the crewmember is returning from days off.
So if you have a child that needs to be taken to the emergency room at 2 AM the morning your trip begins (At the end of your days off, of course) you will be punished accordingly?

Some anonymous individual needs to send this to the newspapers immediately.
 
Rather than publishing rules that are marginal at best, maybe you could have a sit down with those that call in fatigued a lot to see what's going on?
