The only thing that Colgan Cares about is that you stay non-union. They will promise all kinds of things, but if a union vote fails, don't expect any of it.

Ask some of the old-time Pinnacle pilots what life was like before ALPA. You will be in for some interesting stories. I can't imagine what JO would do to his pilots at Mesa if he didn't have ALPA.

While ALPA will never be perfect because imperfect people volunteer and run the organization, it does give you a lawful avenue to pursue pay, workrule, and protection improvements. Even SWA, who has arguably the best relationship with their management has a union for exactly this reason. I highly recommend voting in a union at any airline for that one time you need to talk to "the man" whether it is your fault or not.

Colgan Cares? Yeah right. If you care start by not scheduling min rest, pay for vacation time during people's scheduled days off--VDO = 0 credit wtf?
How about commuter clauses, better health insurance?

I'm curious about the Colgan pilot group.....Who are they? Why are all of their satements/website instigating tension? Why are all of their letters so poorly written? Is this an indication of the mentality of some of our pilots , or is it just a bunch of goobers that are too dumb to be able to use judgement in regard to their future? ALPA's letters are not threatening,and CW's letters are very cordial .There is clearly one professional organization, and one group of guys that just want to argue. ALPA is definately not going to make a miracle happen,but who in their right mind wouldnt want the support and counsel of years of experience?

remember the kid you used to have to issue an ass whippin to when you were young,just because he was a suckup? remember that that same kid just wanted to argue....about anything? some guys are just troublemakers...they just want to stir crap,just because its there, and hate it when someone else has a good idea before they do. these were the same guys that played on computers all the time....the guys that rode bikes instead of cars...the guys that never had chicks,or friends....just ask yourselves..where are those nerds now? do you want to be one of "those guys"?

The Colgan Pilot Group organization has used scare tactics and misinformation. I believe this is because they have no real, logical and fact-based arguments against ALPA. Their replies have been personal attacks and poorly thought arguments. ALPA's position and replies have been fact-based and cordial. When you think about it and do the research, you will see that ALPA is much better than what we have now...nothing. We are employees at will with no say. We don't have solid, agreed to work rules. We don't have a collectively bargained contract. We are now a publicly owned company...we need a professional organization with over 75 years experience representing professional pilots, representing us.
