CNN is reporting a Lear Jet Cargo plane down north of Chicago. Details were limited. It looked pretty bad.

Just in on Fox News, possibly RAX988. Doesn't look good, God Bless them.

Lear Jet down @ PWK

A plane has crashed in the Des Plaines River in a forest preserve south of the Chicago Executive Airport in Wheeling, airport spokeswoman Laura Witlox said.
Video of the scene shows the plane broken up in the river near Euclid Avenue.
The Learjet was making an approach to a runway at the airport about 1:30 p.m. when it went down about a quarter-mile north of Euclid Avenue, according to Tony Molinaro of the Federal Aviation Administration.
The plane was on final approach to runway 34, had been cleared for normal approach and was making a normal approach when it went down in the Des Plaines River about a mile south of the airport, according to a recorded message from the FAA.
The FAA said that the plane's tail number is N720RA and that a pilot and copilot were on the plane. Their conditions are unknown. The agency was unsure if there were any more people on the plane.
The agency did not know the plane's departure airport.
Witlox said it was a Royal Air cargo jet.
A woman who answered the phone at Royal Air Freight Inc., in Waterford, Mich., declined comment, saying the company was still trying to gather information on the crash.
According to airplane registration records, the aircraft is registered at 2141 Airport Rd. in Waterford, Mich.
The FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board are both investigating.
A Cook County Forest Preserve is in that area and includes the River Trails Nature Center. The Des Plaines River runs through that area.
The airport, formerly know as the Palwaukee airport, is located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Palatine Road and Milwaukee Avenue (also called U.S. Hwy. 45 and Ill. Hwy. 21).

My condolences to the families of two of our brothers who were of the order of the sleepless night.

God speed boys R.I.P. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families from your brothers across the field.

I saw the video on the news... It didn't look very good. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the Family and friends.

Blue Skies and Tailwinds forever!

RIP Freight Dogs!

I noticed Royal launched 3 more revenue trips out of PTK after the crash...small company like should shut down ops and give people time

makes me shake my head...RIP

I hate that ILS-16 circle to Rwy 34, cancel IFR before the circle. Tight turn at low altitude. Sucks.
