When the government is making our choices for us and defining what decency is, that is when we are all in trouble. I personally rarely listen to any of the shock jock crap. But i like to know i have a choice to turn it on if i want to listen. I think Stern said it best this morning, "right wing facists" just change the freakin station! I suppose Bush will propose another amendment to the constitution prohibiting shock jocks next....lol

Who ever said Stern has no Class or doesnt make a political statement?

Did anyone ever see "Lord of the AnaI Ring Toss? Playing ring toss with a pole sticking out of a pornstar's As$. I was in tears when E! aired that show.

Well, i guess the person who posted that i dont know what im talking about decided to delete his post (perhaps cause he got a clue?). However, the purpose of my above post was based on the following info.. Do a google search and you will find tons of articles....

H.R. 3717, the "Broadcast Decency Enforcement Act of 2004
Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet

going down a slippery slope

Let me translate that from liberalese for you:

Applying a reasonable standard

I am sorry, but religious broadcasting and commentary is protected speech.

Howard Stern's 6th grade humor is not. I personally think Howard is funny. I do not think his stuff is for public airwaves. Anal ring toss is a shining example, as are drunk, retarded midgets competing to nail a prostitute.

Ah yes. Clear Channel. The company that owns a lot of radio stations. The same company that banned a load of songs after 9/11

One I can think of is Saliva - Click Click Boom

Wankel

Who knows Rush or Tom L. could be next?!!.

Please, no, anything but that!

By the way I never thought I'd see those two guys used in the same sentence in the same context.

Also, nothing heard from Tom about this today because it was a repeat show. He must be down in South America or somewhere signing racks.
