They most definatley have been negotiating with the company. The company has openly admitted to negotiating with USAPA as well as USAPA openly admitting to negotiating with the company. USAPA even states DATE OF HIRE in their CBL. Its obvious to everyone and openly admitted to by USAPA leaders that they want DOH. Pilots out west are being furloughed while east pilots that did not have a job at the time of the merger as well as new hires are keeping their jobs.

You can argue all you want but its pretty black and white in the end. USAPAIANS have met thier match with Leonidas and will finally have to answer to a Court of Law for their mis-behavior. Its just disapointing that a group of adults had to act so childish in a business matter. Actually its pathetic!

YAaawwwnnnnnn

Can someone please stay awake so as to wake us up when one side runs out of money to continue this show?:D The side who still has money will buy a round for everyone. Well.. maybe the lawyers will share their beer.:D

Yeah, we probably are....

Dave will soon be all but furlough-proof....something he certainly wasn't back in '05

Congrats to the West! You got the callsign and now you'll get the windfall in job security.

Dave may not have been "furlough proof" (whatever that means) in 2005, but he was at a company that was hiring like crazy with firm aircraft orders. In the absence of the merger, he would have easily been 20% from the bottom now, which would have provided lots of protection from furlough. As things are, he is scheduled to hit the streets in less than a month while you and everyone else who had no career expectations whatsoever in 2005 are well insulated from furlough. Yeah, some windfall.

Don't bother. Facts and reality are to USAPIANS what a crucafix is to Vampires.

We are light years ahead of this mess. Got a joint contract with improvements (albeit not as much as some of us thought we could have gotten)and a sli process that is going to work its way out one way or another by Nov. 20. There will be angry sections of both seniority lists but I bet that it will be spread out btw the two to avoid one side feeling screwed. My hope is since both sides have agreed to this that even if the larger group(dal) feels they got the shaft that they will honor there word, unlike the east. My personal opinion of the east is one of disgust. They agreed to a process, did'nt like the results and now went back on their word. I know it seemed a onesided award but they were warned by Nic. that their doh stance was not going to happen. They gambled and lost.

Could this be a prequel to the Delta - Northwest merger??

So you're telling everyone that Doug Parker lies to us all in those Town Hall Meetings?

Yeah, a familiar, beaten-like-a-dead-horse stance by the West. You guys were "hiring like crazy" with no end in sight.....right. Not what Doug says, but you guys only quote him when it suits your pursuit of the windfall.
