Everyone wants to know the questions to the interview, but I want to know if they are currently interviewing?, when was the last class hired?, if no hiring now, when might they start up again?
Do you work for CitationShares, and if so, what do you fly?
I have heard that CitationShares will be hiring all year, but not more than a couple of dozen flightcrew. Any info on how many new hires there will be this year?
Good commentary on Turbinhead on the other thread, TJ.
No, I don't fly for CitationShares. I fly for an airline based in SEA that has a picture of Jimi Hendrix, or is is Jerry Garcia....or someone like that, on the tail
However, I do have a really close friend that I have known for a long time who flies there (on the Bravo). I talk to him all the time, and he's pretty free with the information on the company, both the good and the bad....but, it's mostly good. As with any company, there are things that are frustrating, and these things seem to be magnified with all the venting that goes on....but, like I've said before, he thinks it's a good place to be...he only wishes they'd open something out here on the West Coast as a base, so he can move back out here.
When I mentioned in an earlier post about the hiring and interviewing...they do seem to interview on a fairly regular basis, but it's usually one guy here, one guy there, etc. And when they hire, it also seems to be small numbers at a time. Hardly ever more than 3-5 in any month, so that would jive with the numbers you posted. Understand, I am talking in generalities, from what I hear. But, I think it's fairly accurate information.
And as far as Turbinehead goes, he asks questions about CitationShares interviewing, hiring, etc. on one thread, while saying "Companies like CitationShares don't stand a chance", in another. What an idiot. I don't think he's the "five star" material that CS is looking for.
Out of curiousity, how long was the time from when you applied/sent resume to CitatioShares and the time you interviewed? I'm trying to gauge the response time, as if that has any bearing on anything.
CS will hire about 60 more pilots this year. Hiring/Training is timed with delivery schedule. Interviews are ongoing. As for getting in, be persistant and update your application regularly. If you get a call back/interview, be prepared. The interview will be thorough but fair.
