Citation air getting out of fractional business. Only 80 pilots will stay for managed aircraft. Owner contract will be allowed to lapse...

Source: ca pilots/ca owners/NetJets sales team

Why some may be smiling, lives will be hurt, and This is never good as potential owners will be worried about coming into our industry..

My wife works with a girl who's husband works there. So sorry to hear about this bad news. He said they got the bad news last night. Guys, management is management. We are pilots. No matter who we work for, we're all brothers and sisters in this industry. I hate hearing about more pilots on the street.

How many fractional owners did you all have? Any idea what brought this on at this time?

Very sorry to hear this. From someone who knows it is not much fun....

No numbers were given. When official numbers are announced, I will be the first to post, but please don't spread rumors!
