And none of the Citations ever used wing bleed until the V and that was only inboard. They still have boots outboard.

CJ's I believe use bleed.

Excels also use bleed air on the entire wing.

If the pictures are correct, it is (was) a turkey vulture. Nasty little buggers too. Wingspan better than six feet on adults, stands 2-3' tall. I've only taken out a duck and that felt like a pole. Hate to feel a bird of that size!

Down in Orlando they had a CII that hit one or more deer on landing. Now you're talkin' damage!

The V and Ultra uses bleed air in the inboard and boots on the outboard
The Encore uses bleed air through the whole wing and boots in the tail.
The XL and XLS are the same as the encore

I hit a goose coming out on Lincoln, Nebraska. Went directly in the engine and shut it down. Just a fine mist around the fuselage but didn't touch anything. Pretty cool.

We had a crew hit a bird on the rudder. The bird hit was so hard it bent the rudder spar and had to be replaced. One of our fine pilots photoshoped the picture so it looked like the bird hit it from the rear. Pretty funny.
