If you are acting as a SIC and are qualified as a SIC under 61.55, then yes you can log it because the PIC is not exercising the privileges of the 4050 waiver.Turbosnake03 said:ok what if you are flying a CE550 as a co-pilot with a PIC that has a single pilot type are you aloud to log it as SIC time??? even though the pic holds a single pilot type??

Where people get into trouble is they sit in the right seat and think they can log it without actually being qualified under 61.55 (3 T/O's and landings, S/E work, and knowing something about the airplane itself).
