Why are you ExpressJet pilots worried about being furloughed? You CEO stated that was the reason he was keeping all 69 aircraft. He wanted to maintain your jobs. He is sure that he can find flying for all those aircraft.

I think this was admorable if that was his true intention, or was it just a ploy to keep stock prices from going down the toilet?

Has there been any word on homes for these 69 a/c?

I agree with an earlier post.... Misdirected anger is what you see on this site. The anger (as i have said in previous posts) should be directed to MAINLINE PILOTS. They started this by selling out their scope to allow all this regional flying.

When are you arrogant pilots gonna realise you are a monkey on a string along for the ride. The companies are the ones that organize and operations like this. You just do what you are told. The pilots don't take anything. it's the company.

When the flying the commuters were doing were the less than 300-500nm flights in turboprops to extremely small communities it was a bit different than the current style of RJ flying being done. .

Why weren't mainline pilots flying those routes in airplanes owned by mainline?

:angryfire We were pulling into Atlanta today, and I saw a 145 chq plane just taxi out of 5N. I saw the the Captain and FO give me the finger and they started laughing? We were like "WTF", that's pretty immature. When we pulled up to the gate, the gate agent told us that CHQ loaded up our PAX and just left, then our flight got cancelled. This has just got to stop somewhere, this is ridiculous!

The way I hear it, we've been stealing everyone's flying.
