SCE to AUX said:How do the pilots at other airlines represented by Local 747 feel?
It seems the RAH/CHQ pilots don't feel they are getting their moneys worth and have started a movement to form a new IBT local or start a in-house union.
Thoughts?

I just got my bill in the mail yesterday saying that I owe those crooks $280.00. The company has been taking money out of my paychecks twice a month but apparently not sending it to Houston so to help pay for Sowell's new boat.Mike Oxlong said:LearLove...if they don't sign you up they'll figure it out and send you a bill for what you owe from their mistake.

I looked at this months ALPA rag with a truly noble quote on the cover and great content on professionalism inside. Then I looked at the Teamster rag, inside which was glowing editorial on the representational victory at GeauxJets. Made me nauseous.
However the first letter in union is U. We make up the MEC or EXCO, we participate in committees, we volunteer. Without an active pilot group, it matters not what logo is on the flight bag sticker. You can't buy representation.
