The moment I left the townhouse, you could see them in the air. Line after line! Only one word can discribe it: massive. If only I had my camcorder that morning. Its hard for me to believe that the airspace would be turned from clear skys to milky, creamy light blue skys. I tried to ignore it because its Sunday. This is the day you go to church and seek God's blessing on your life. My wife offered to drive as we went down the road. She didn't want me to get in an accident while driving and looking at the sky. But instead, I tried to be like a pilot...just ignore it, don't question it and it will go away.

After church, the people line up to greet the pastor outside by the churchl fountain. There he greeted them one by one. However, something strange began to happen. People began to point up at the sky. There, right above the church was a gigantic X that looked like a cross. Watching the people at first made me kind of chuckle. Its as if, for a moment everyone was turning chrismatic because they were all pointing at the cross-like X above the church. I didn't need to say a word. It was so obvious.

Then I asked one lady. "Does this seem strange to you?"
"yes" she replied. "The other day I saw two planes creating a giant X near Fondren and Westheimer. I've never paid attention to the sky except this once. It was so big that words cant discribe the bewilderment I felt as these two jets crossed paths."

In my heart, I wanted to tell this lady that what she was seeing was just a normal jet contrail made up of ice crystals. I wanted to tell her that it would disappear in just a minute but I knew that wasn't the truth. That trail didn't budge nor did it disappear. Several thousand people saw that trail on Sunday. I couldn't lie to her. It was so massive and it just sat there. It barely moved.

When we got home a half hour later, I sat down at my contrail/chemtail checklist.

1. What was the temperature outside? 60 degrees
2. What was the humidity outside? 60 percent according to Channel 13
3. Where other jets in the area? Yes
4. Where they creating trails? No
5. How many jets flew by creating trails over the church? I counted 3
6. What size was the trail? tiny or massive? Massive
7. How long did you observe it? 15 minutes
8. Was it still there when you left? yes
9. According to Mark Steadmans study on contrails in Houston, what is the average time of a contrail in Houston? 30 seconds
10. Did the X over the church last longer? Yes...it was there till I left. I observed it for 15 minutes after the service, then ate chicken dinner at church and then left. I would say there was an hour interval between the sightings.
11. Was it there when you left the church? Yes

What is your conclusion?

If this was normal jet contrail activity, the trails would disappear in less than a minute. The temperature was 60 and the humidity was low. Chemicals don't need cold temperatures or humidity to linger in the air. Also, we need to take in consideration the bewilderment of the people. Not one could say that what they were seeing was normal.

Where you able to get any electronic evidence that day of chemtrails in the skys? Yes

Where is it?

I highly recommend Bullock's barbeque in Durham, NC, also there are about 20 top notch barbeque joints in Memphis. The barbeque festival there in May is unbelievable, if it weren't for all those contrails blotting out the sun....

Downtown Memphis has some great BBQ joints, but even better BBQ can be had in rural towns around Memphis. There are a lot of places that look like dives, but the cook has been making BBQ for 20 years, using a recipie that has been passed down from his grandma. Mouth watering!

What is everyone's favorite side dish to have with BBQ? Mashed potatos? Green beans? Fried okra? Nothing at all?

Brazilian barbeque is the way to go!

actually mongolian barbeque isn't all that bad either, i also like "normal" barbeque. But the two above win hands down.

I smoked a brisket this weekend, extra tasty. You can't beat a Grill Dome. To all those Green Eggers, you paid too much.

Eh, BBQ & Grilling are different I hear

:p

No one has ever mentioned Famous Daves, so I'm going to throw it in. They have GREAT barbeque for a chain restaurant. And their corn muffins are amazing, too.

Also, if anyone is ever in RIC or OFP, there is a great little joint in Ashland called The Smokey Pig. Excellent stuff. Great hushpuppies, too.

What an odd item to have on a Contrail/Chemtrail checklist.

Well, since it's going that way anyhow, I suggest we add an Item 12 to the Checklist: Were the churchgoers bewildered?

I gotta agree with EagleRJ here:

My personal favorite, as I have stated several times now on this forum, is Bozo's in Mason, TN.

Baked beans, of course.
