this was fun.
step 1.) read page one of this thread.
step 2.) immediately move to the last page, read that one.
step 3.) ask 'what the hell happened?'
step 4.) ask yourself whats going on.

AFELLOWAVIATOR do you have any source for your view that CMR built Terminal C, because according to CMR's own website Delta built it in 1994.
OK. It doe's not say "Delta built it"> It says it was part of Delta's expansion. Just as when Comair went into a new city, it was part of Delta's expansion.

I have now laid out the obvious. You know I'm right, you just want to fight. This is stupid. As are your post. What a bunch of idiots.[/QUOTE]
What you've laid is an egg and nothing else. CMR's own website said the concourse was part of a $400M terminal expansion project BY Delta not CMR. CMR's website then says that only 4 years later CMR spent $40M remodeling the concourse, yet you expect us to believe that CMR bulit it for $50M. YGTBSM. Just admit it AFELLOW, you've got nothing to back up your claim. Go back and learn your own company history.

"The concourse was part of terminal expansion projects at the airport by Delta totaling over $400 million." CMR website

AFA,

I was just wondering, a few pages back someone asked you for you name and phone number so he ( or she) could non rev to CVG and punch you in the mouth. I never saw the name or number so I guess your not really a tough guy are you? You just sound like someone that just likes to hide behind your username and shoot off your mouth.

Delta is about to declare bankruptcy :( ALPA's having a BOD meeting where they will try to get Connection's MEC's to consent to mainline bargaining, while not telling the Connection MECs' what they are agreeing to.

Who cares who built the terminal. Like the rebuild of Concourse C, ASA will get to pay the bill through higher lease rates, whoopsie, my bad _ DELTA _ will get to pay for it since ASA is not really a Company as much as it is a entity formed just for the purpose of undermining collective bargaining efforts.

And ALPA still loves alter ego and airline pilots fighting airline pilots.

Uh, yea, sure, Comair would spend 40,000,000 to remodel a Terminal they don't own. You are an idiot, aren't you?

AFELLOW, it's done all the time, get a clue. In one of your own posts you provide a link which states the following with respect to expansion of concourse C: Comair will pay for the expansion, but the Kenton County Airport Board will own the facility. Airlines spend billions on remodeling and building airport concourses which they then lease from the appropriate airport authority. New construction often comes with a price tag for the airlines even though the municipality retains ownership. In 1994 it was Delta that ponied up nearly $400M and paid for the construction of Concourse C which CMR uses. Delta has $100s of millions set aside for construction projects in BOS, JFK and ATL, yet Delta doesn't own those runways, terminals or concourses.

Jealousy is expected from these chawawa guys. We have a great terminal. It IS Comair's Terminal. Every reference in the articles refers to it as "Comairs Terminal C".

These guys are just mad that we think of them as prostitutes and back stabbers who have no back bone.

We all know it is Comairs Terminal. This is my last post on the subjecy since I won the debate.

In light of the last seven pages of nonsense about who really owns Concourse C (not like it really matters or anybody cares), I would go out on a limb and say...

whomever gives you the first class date

as the primary concern, followed closely by:

whomever has the most content pilot group

make the decision for yourself...

How on earth are you going to find that out before you've been working there for a few months? This message board? Ha! According to this messageboard, every ASA pilot hates life and pisses on the tires of every CHQ jet on the ramp at DFW. That's not the case, guys, but if it's on the internet it must be true, right?

I second the "whoever calls you first" idea, but with reservations. Just keep in mind that upgrade times can and will change, and the upgrade times now only matter to the guy upgrading at this moment. You sure can't project them forward.

Uh, what happened here? 3-4 pages ago, you had adopted a more conciliatory tone.... you DO know the guy you've been arguing with is a DL mainline pilot right?

No jealousy about your terminal, or anything else here. Although, I gotta admit between time with my son, getting laid, and generally loving life I'm still losing sleep about what my Comair brethren think of me.........

To the OP. Go with the airline that you think works better for YOUR quality of life. The relative merits have been discussed here ad nauseum. DO NOT come to CHQ planning on a 2-year upgrade. I'm 10 numbers from holding a captain's bid and could go next month or never depending on how things shake out with Airways. Good luck either way.

You're a pretty funny little FELLOW. There is no dispute that CMR occupies the gates in the concourse and even your own "evidence" states that the concourse belongs to the municipality, not CMR. The only question is who paid for the construction and clearly it was Delta. CMR's own website states the obvious, which you somehow can't grasp.

1994 - Comair opened the innovative 53-gate Concourse C at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, the largest ever designed exclusively for a regional airline. The concourse was equipped with many of the same amenities as a major airline hub facility, including a food court, specialty stores and duty-free shopping. The concourse was part of terminal expansion projects at the airport by Delta totaling over $400 million.

Source: CMR.

Now little FELLOW, perhaps the smartest thing you've stated is your desire to bow out of this discussion, since each of your posts seem more and more emotionally driven. Just relax little FELLOW and enjoy the concourse Delta bought you.

Please guys...give it a rest. Reading such a heated debate over who owns an airline terminal was amusing or a while...but its getting a bit old. :)

I own the C-Terminal !!!

Y'all quit yer bitching!!!

Now on to the ACTUAL question:

CHQ has a lot of baskets full of eggs and another basket is about to start filling up. There was an article 2 weeks ago (can't remember where) about a new 2005 codeshare. Anyway, there are plans in place if US tanks.

ASA is directly tied to Delta which isn't doing too hot right now. I'm sure Delta will be fine in the long run, but they may start playing games with their regional partners (including CHQ) if they go into Ch. 11.

Roll the dice buddy!! you never know, you may not get hired by either of them.......

Good luck,
