Heheheh, I don't think CHQ pilots know how to read between the lines when we're *supposed* to. We've learned to do it when we aren't supposed to quite well, though. :)

To Chautauqua Guys

Allegheny head (or some position like it) FA goes to Republic: this from the co. web site today. Just thought I'd let you know.

Allegheny Airlines, Inc.
1000 Rosedale Avenue
Middletown, PA 17057
Dialnet 948-5541

Date: July17, 2003 Interoffice Correspondence

To: All Flight Attendants

From: Debra Hoke / Director, In-flight Services

Subject: Dave Curran

It is with regret that I announce the resignation of In-flight Manager, Dave Curran effective August 2nd. Dave is moving on in his career, and has accepted a position as Manager of
In-flight Services with Republic Airlines. Republic Airlines is a new regional airline with corporate headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky. In his new position, Dave will have an opportunity to develop an In-flight Department from its inception. Please join me saying farewell to Dave and congratulating him in his new
position with Republic. Dave will be in the office on Friday,
July 18th and periodically throughout the remainder of the month.

Please do not stone the messenger, or the ALG pilot group, this guy is an FA and most of us don't know who or what he did here. Just passing along some info to the Chautauqua guys.

What exactly was the TA proposal like that you (CHQ) guys turned down?

Skull One and Brother Francis

Thank you for always posting what is going on at CHQ. I am new to your brotherhood at CHQ and came very close to being furloughed but did get displaced which makes me very fortunate. Lucky for me this is not my first airline and I do understand the importance of what is going on. I think that sometimes the guys that have been here for a while underestemate the amount of understanding the pilots at the bottom of the list have about the current situation at CHQ. Most of the pilots that are currently at the bottom have flown for other airlines and have been through either furloughs of contract negotiations. We can see through the B.S. of this management and will stand strong with the pilot group of this airline no matter what happens. I believe in this pilot group and since I have been here I am daily reminded of what a quality group it is and it is by far the best and most united I have ever worked with. CHQ can be a good if not a great company, but we have to stand up to management

Brother Francis...sorry I am using you avitar, but it make a greats statement.

...

The way the Company has been playing things I would say no chance at all...

Latest rumors....

1) Company is telling us to "expect less than Mesa pay rates." I guess they can expect us to shut the airline down, then.

2) Republic is not going to fly for USAirways. Instead, it is going to do a codeshare with American(! ! ! ! ! ). OY! To think I figured this was a J4J-only deal, too. As Ricky Van Shelton sang, "Could it be.....somebody.......LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIED."

So the off-line JS policy at Republic will be a perfect reflection of the overall quality of the pilots there- totally crap! I wouldn't want to ride with them anyway!

Way to fight for what's right, CHQ. With the exception of the 80 something pilots who founded Freedom, I believe everyone else is behind you guys.

-Boo!
