Ok, for those of you who had been following my CFI checkride progress in this thread .....
http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?t=79052

I went up and flew with my instructor today to do "remedial training" and both my 8's on pylons, and my short field landings were perfect. So I'm signed back up to hit those two manuevers with a check examiner.

Not sure when it'll be, hopefully tommorow or friday, but I'll keep everyone informed.

I can't remember how it works; on Checkride-- the Sequel! do you have to redo the whole thing, or just the bits that you flubbed?

good stuff....got it tommorow at 930 am.

Can't wait to be done with it start making some money. I'm broke

Marc

Good luck! And just relax, all the hard parts are over.

Passed....like i should have done the first time, haha.

CFI now gotta start making some money. I'm poor.

Starting CFII ground school monday.

It never ends

Marc

Congrats! If it makes you feel better, when I took my CFII checkride, the examiner came into the room and said "This is probably the easiest checkride you'll ever take." Hard part is definitely over (unless you count paying the bills on CFI pay as the hard part).

haha thats good to here.....thanks guys

Congrats dude. I just read your other topic. Sounds like they busted your balls on something stupid. Oh well at least you got it now. I bet it feels good? Take a week off and relax. In no time you will be teaching. I started my new job on Tuesday and I already have my first student today. When do you plan on getting your double i? I've heard if you bang it out it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks. I need to get on that myself.

well i'm starting the ground school for II on monday, but i'm waiting to see if I get hired at Flight Safety before I begin the flying because I would get the employee rate. If I don't get hired I'll just get it wherever I do get a job. At least I'll have the 141 ground school out of the way...it was only 300 so it didn't break the bank, and gives me something productive to do in the mean time.
