ASA guys and gals:

PLEASE PLEASE support next weeks events!!! All info can be found on the "MY MEC" web site https://crewroom.alpa.org/Default.aspx?tabid=57&ctl=CrewLogin
Its time put up or shut up. All the complaing we all do can now be focused on showing ASA managment that we are willing and ready for a new contract!! We have to sacrifice our time and days off to do this.
First impressions are extremely important! Lets show these imbeciles in the GO that we are Unified and stand behind our MEC.
LETS GET THE WORD OUT

Cheers

What are the repercussions of a new-hire doing informational picketing?

Do we have any union protection?

I know of a lot of newhires that want a contract, but are afraid of what might happen?

We don't all want growth at the expense of quality of life, but we don't want to jump into a gunfight with fingernail clippers :)

As long as you are not in class or sim sessions there should be no problem with your assisting. If you are in any sort of activity involving the GO or FSI I would pass. We need as many as possible to send the message to management that we are fed up with their glacial pace of negotiations.

Time to do the ant march in front of the GO

"At stand 30, can we please get catering, lav dump, fuel truck, cleaners, paperwork, a huffer, & some wingwalkers? They've all disappeared again..."

Picketing

A pilot on prbabtion can not actually picket! A new hire still on probation can still get involved......Show up at the assigned times in uniform and tell the powers that be you are on probation. They will not let you picket but can use all the help they can get with other functions of the whole event.
Please everyone check out the ALPA web site and fill out the form. You too proby guys and gals. Just add in the comments section that you are on probation.

If I'm walking the line on a reserve day and a scheduler sees me, do you think my cell phone will start ringing?

Their heads are buried so far up their asses, they won't be able to see you.

When is the informational picketing taking place? Good luck to all my "cousins" at ASA. We at Comair are wishing you the best as you work toward achieving the contract that you all so rightly deserve.

Fraternally,
KAK
