Based on your comment and logic during this debate I'm not in the least bit surprised you feel that way.

Most of us are paying dues to a union that is far more loyal to the pilots at the top 4 or 5 majors than they ever will be to the regionals. At least with an independent union noone will have to worry about being screwed by an organization with other prioritites. The bigger question though is whether or not they stay independent.
 
yea but at least you can get a SSL, and then remove it. Get an SSL and then withdraw it. Get an SSL and scream on every board how you will fight to the death and then pull it cause the big boys don't really like you.
