You Bush-bashers really crack me up. Do you think Kerry, the husband of Teresa Heinz would do something other than back big business? Do you think that Kerry, who spent over 20 years in Congress but never wrote 1 single, substantial piece of legislation would have made a better president?

If you want someone to blame, look to your own party. If they had given the American public a viable candidate, GWB wouldn't have been elected. You have no one to blame but yourselves.

Quit crying, get up off your knees, and go do something about it, like getting rid of that clown Dean. Bashing Bush makes you feel like you are doing something, when all you are doing is venting your spleen.

Of course, we'll never know, will we? I have a hard time imagining a more destructive financial path than the one Bush has set this country upon. How about vetoing a spending bill? Just one! Never mind this idiotic war or his bumbling response to Katrina.

What's ever funnier are the people that will defend this pathetic excuse for a leader under any circumstances. That's fine, because all the rat politicians who defended this fool are now jumping ship to save their skins come election day. Too late.

To all the Bush-bots:

Regarding the Ted Stevens "Cabotage" Bill. You know the bill that is allowing foreign airlines to fly cargo withing the USA:

ALL Democratic senators voted against it. All but three Republican senators voted for it. Those 3 are: Arlen Specter, Bill Frist and Kit Bond. Bush couldn't sign it fast enough.

Note to Democratic Party: Can we PLEASE have a viable, electable, competent candidate in '08 ?? ( Hillary AIN'T it !!)

PS For those who think Bush's deficts don't matter, consider this: Interest rates are rising for a reason. Hope you don't have an adjustable, interest-only mortgage on your house....when the bank raises your rates to 7,8, or 9+ percent, tell them Dick Cheney said that deficits don't matter and the gov't. shouldn't be raising rates to attract foreign capital to fund our deficits.

Hi!

My party can't produce a viable candidate, because it's too small.

Both the Democrats and Republicans have a stranglehold on the governmental offices in the company. They take our money and give it to their rich friends, because their rich friends are the ones who are paying for their campaigns.

I would love for my party to gain a foothold so we could get some of the Dems and Reps, almost all of which are corporate/fascists, out of office.

I can't imagine anyone being worse than Bush, it would be rather difficult. Would Kerry have been a great president? Nope, but at least he wouldn't have been one of the worst. The question now is, how much deeper will Bush dig his/our hole over the next 2 years? It is a little depressing that the two major political parties in this country don't have anyone better.

Well, you know what, lowest-common-denominator is just as "American" as lowest-bidder-wins-all, and every-man-for-himself. Ignorance is not bliss.

Maybe not worse than Carter, but probably damn close.

If that's the best the Dems could do, they deserved to lose, and the way they are going right now, they will lose again.

Guys like you love to knock what Bush is doing, but you can't tell us what your party or your politicians are doing, or should do, better, and that is why you will likely lose again in 2008.

Have a nice life!

Wow, winning by a supreme court decision and then 3% of the vote surely makes the idiot you voted for far superior. By your same logic, Bush is about as bad as the republican party could find, since he did not even get the popular vote over a loser like Al Gore, and just barely beat a loser named Kerry while the country was still in post 9/11 hysteria.

Let's see, I am 99% sure Al Gore would not have invaded Iraq, as the POTUS. We would have done the same to the Taliban, saved a few thousand military lives, and the debt that now your children and grandchildren are going to be paying for their entire lives. Our military would not be over-extended, and the world would probably still like the USA. Iraq would still be run by a dictator (that we originally helped situate), but the country would be stable and not currently in a civil war which will continue for a long time. Is this hindsight? Yes, however it is exactly what the democrats opposed to the invasion said would happen. Can you compare this thinking to that of anyone who thought Bush's plan (which was no plan) in Iraq would work, and that the mission was accomplished when the POTUS made a publicity stunt on an aircraft carrier? Was Bin Laden found Dead or Alive? Is Bush's 5 year economic plan coming close to his '04 campaign promises? Was integrity restored to the White House in 2000? New Orleans? How's the energy bill helping you?

It seems that over 66% of Americans have finally realized that Bush and his BS aren't good for the country. Seems like there is more to being president than not getting blown. Why are you still reactionary?

Bush is an egotisticrat (Made up word but you get it) from a wealthy family. It is laughable that any airline pilot on this forum looks up to and supports him. He has nothing in common with any of us.
