Hey all,

was wondering if any had some bullet points on "ways to go about finding an owner that is interested in putting aircraft on 135?"

Marketing? Word of mouth? Advertise?... etc.

Thanks.

Go to local FBO's That dont have 135 cert. and ask if they would help with local aircraft owners and charter clients who may be interested in a charter start up. Run several local /regional adds in trade periodicals looking for partners

I would use the online FAA registration information to get addresses for the owners of the specific model plane you want to use. Send letters. Follow up with phone calls to those who would benefit from it (i.e. not the pilot, who might fear that his job would change).

First you need to come up with a compelling argument as to why Mr. Airplane Owner should put his big iron on your cert. Then subscribe to JettNet or similar type of aviation data service. and begin contacting owner's who's aircraft best suit your business model.

Good Luck!
