Anyone have info on starting a Charter Brokerage. Legalities, Licensing etc..I know why do I want to do this in this market... positioning for the future.

Basically all you need is a cell phone, fax machine and a website. Plus a very good line of BS for everyone. You need to be able to tell the client that he can take his 200 pound footlockers on the plane and then tell the charter operator that the passengers only have one small bag apiece. Be able to say that with a straight face and you will do OK.

You must also be able to tell the customer that you can load 10 people in a Citation 560 with bags and go non-stop from TEB to VNY  .......then you can tell the operator that its 6 people and no bags and the fuel stop is fine :D . Ahhhh c'mon.....just let the PIC handle the issue at the FBO.
