I guess that I didn't even know that. For BAC?

Air Cargo Masters. That name hit me when I saw it in the thread title, but it took me a while to figure it out. Bob was a great guy. The last time I saw him was over six years ago, but I still remember talking to him in that nasty dispatch office, he and a few friends were taking a light aircraft to Minneapolis for the weekend.

My condolences HU-16

http://www2.caringbridge.org/fl/bob/, I thought some of you would like to know. Bob introduced me to flying in college. I introduced him to Jimmy Buffett music. He was truely the best soul I have ever known.

I decided this deserves a new thread.

Yes it does. I remember when news of Bob's plight was first posted. I was saddened to read that he couldn't overcome the disease. My condolences to Bob's family and friends---Netjetwife

Lovely place to walk out of, talk bad about, or celebrate its demise. I have a lot of what not to do stories from there, although I did meet a few really great people there, Bob being one of them.

Matt,

Thanks for the thread. I miss Bob so much already. We worked so hard to get him well; I can't believe he's gone..... Thanks to everyone for keeping Bob and me in your thoughts and prayers. It amazes me how many lives Bob touched during his short time with us- such a great guy!

My father died in the same way. He had gone into the hospital and had progressively gotten worse and then all of a sudden he was better. We had two weeks to talk and laugh. Then all of a sudden he became septic and he was gone.

My family and my thoughts are with you. The only thing that keeps me going is that my father is looking over my shoulder. I know Bob is doing the same for you.
