It's back, sorry to say. This guy must be in dreamland. Who writes this crap for him? He's not happy with the arr+15 stats. Oh wait, must be the weather! Wonder what they look like for departures, especially the first flights?

Oh don't forget, Sun starts employee appreciation week, and next week the name of the hangar will be revealed! Geez, does anyone give a shet what a friggin' hangar's called? Fly safe, and by the book now.

Actually, we should all feel good about our efforts when the only thing he can praise is the one single day of completion factor. Even the most dressed up ontime numbers he can come up with corrected for the moon cycle are still WAY below the goal JA EXPECTS from him. Keep the flame hot. Skipping meals isn't safe. Remember, a reasonable time AT A REASONABLE PLACE to get proper nourishment is your contractual right.

As always, fly safe airplanes

True what you say, fly safely, and get your nourishment, away from the plane.

Thing is, this dude is clueless. I mean the only employees left in great numbers are the pilots, FAAs, and mechanics, and the vast majority of them don't care what the man has to say. His rah-rah B.S. has to be falling on dead ears. No one wants to read his nonsense.

Sad to think he puts so much emphasis on completion when all they have to do is run flights late, sometimes hours late. And they pay him and his cronies a bonus for that?

ASA mgt is really stupid. That is my conclusion. I thought they might have a plan but now I wonder.

No cell phones. Lunch is away from the plane. Broken, get it fixed. Simple.

I wasn't in the crew lounge when Scott Hall was in there the other day. Somebody was saying that Scott was declaring that, "if our on time performance doesn't improve, Delta will pull the plug...." Now I have no idea what that means. Somebody from the back apparently stated, "then why don't they do it right now?" Classic. Mgmt. has now resorted to their last detail.....Simple scare tactics. There is nothing left to take away. First of all, who has the pilots to replace ASA? Nobody. Fly SAFE guys, don't let up. Keep it going strong, hopefully even stronger.

Hmm, well lets let Delta get off their cans and watch their crapy rampers work. It took 47 minutes to get parked the other night. What a joke.

MY SEPTEMBER ON TIME PERFROMANCE:
ARRIVAL+14= 0%....YES 0%.
The mechanics love us!
Maybe they will name a hanger after me!

Have a look at this:

ASA planes are not owned by Delta nor by ASA (most of them), they are owned by BANKS. Look at the registration. These banks expect payment and on time! Neither Delta, Skywest nor ASA can afford to default on their payments because they don't have the leverage to offset such great amount of monthly loan payments. If they "pull the plug", then who will continue making payments? Skywest will be in a very bad financial position from which they may never recover. A sale is possible, but who would buy? All I am trying to say here is that the banks expect to be paid ON TIME!

Can't wait for RGT, going to unload BOTH BARRELS on that Duche Bagg!!!:angryfire

I'll be in there 2-5 Oct. Maybe we ought to just ignore him, and not make any comments like that one class did awhile back. That really got to SH. Just ignore him, and roll your eyes when he spouts crap like "Delta's gonna pull the plug"! Plug this pal! :D

I would love it if you guys would do that!!! He needs to start understanding just how angry and pissed we as a pilot group already are. I've seen countless great people here at ASA seek and get other jobs. People that would have called ASA home but left because it has become so bad. I'm so pissed that our brainless, careless and rude (scare tactics) management are so screwed up in the way they treat there employess from the ground up. They have no comprehension of employee moral, ethics, or human emotions. Yes, yes I know it's a business but you loose the people you (should) trust (employees) then what do you have??? People like SH that go out and use scare tactics like that have no clue of the damage they will do. Every write up I've done lately and since I started this job has been legit 100% legit. But I can tell you I will call only once and when they are like "you ready to board" nope missing all the services check back when you feel like it. I've had enough of this poor treatment and complete lack of respect from our management. Enough of my rant but I tell you that I used to think that things were looking up at ASA but all I see is total dissrespect from our so called leaders. Enjoy Employee Appreciation week!! What a joke I hope they choke along with their cabin cleaning program!

I think everyone should just walk out when he enters the room. Last year I boycotted and went to get on my plane back to DFW early!

I'm all for the walkout, but it has to be unanimous. I'm in during the last session in Oct. His speech is not part of RGT, so I'm not required to be there.

I contributed to the completion factor the other day. I screwed up the D15 time though by departing 10 hours late. But at least they didn't cancel the flight and ASA got paid for it! I can't believe Delta doesn't step in and say something about this crap. And if SH wants the D15 and A15 time to improve, maybe a contract would be an incentive for us to actually care.

These weekly pep talks remind me of the band playing while the Titanic was sinking.

I agree 100%..... however doesn't it sound like BOTH sides are playing music while the chairs on the deck of the Titanic are being rearranged?

On the one hand, we have a puppit management team (ASA), which isn't even calling the shots, giving us weekly pep talks that everyone can see right through..... The strings on this side of the table are being pulled by SGU and Virginia Ave..... not by BL...

On the other side of the table, we get weekly pep talks from ALPA that include

"We are confident that we will get a release this time"...... followed by "We are surprised by the fact that we didn't get a release this time"....

"ALPA is a sinking ship..... There is nothing more ALPA can do for you.... you need to leave...."

Meanwhile, the ASA pilots are caught in this battle between ALPA national and Jerry....

BOTH sides are playing music, and ALPA is telling us to jump in the life rafts.... Oh by the way there aren't enough life rafts for everyone and the life raft won't be as comfortable as the ship was....

Some warned of the iceburg long before it was struck..... but the band played on.....

That is the equivalent of putting someone on your ignore list simply because you don't like what they have to say. Management doesn't want you to listen to ALPA, and ALPA doesn't want you to listen to management....

The smart thing to do is to listen to BOTH sides and find the truth somewhere in the middle.....
