EWR??? Not me Mate! And I will avoid LGA like the plague for sure. But, I think the LGA flights will work well for us financially, but not operationally. Like you always say, we will see and it will be interesting.General Lee said:Jetblue320,
Do you want EWR? I would gladly give that one up! And, I hope you guys enjoy LGA as much as we do! Take care.
Bye Bye--General Lee
General, not intended as flamebait, but I think you will see more pilots going. Do you think the Comair Mec just sent the letter on hiring with out resigning seniority out of the blue?General Lee said:He never said which groups, and the pilots are currently under staffed due to all of the retirements since May. We do not know how many will or would be cut, and that still has to be looked at and bargained at the table with our union.

I see fins has been on the thread for a while. He must be putting together the GL rebuttal.....jetblue320 said:EWR??? Not me Mate! Is that a little of your Aussie heritage slipping in there? I remember flying B6 when they first started and remember a CA with an Aussie accent. Of course with my ear, it could have been an RSA accent. Hope it was you on that flight, as you are quite a nice person. I stayed on board the flight from FLL to JFK as it was continuing to my destination of SYR, and was shocked to see you cleaning out the pouches behind the seats. It gave me a whole new perspective on being a team player.
By the way, you people have to learn to say the teen numbers properly. When I watch golf on the weekends, I love to hear the Aussie commentators say the "thirdeenth hole, or the eighdeenth hole."![]()

Lowercur,
No, that is not me, but I know who you are talking about. We have 2 Kiwi's and one Aussie in the upper seniority ranks. In fact, our #1 pilot is from New Zealand, and says "ahhdeen" (18).
And I know you have been told this, but the way you reply to threads makes it tougher to quote you. You have to cut and paste your input. Maybe you like it that way, I don't know.
C yaaa
That would make for one interesting color scheme.....USNFDX said:I heard Delta was trying to sell Fedex 109 757's??????????
Injunctive relief from what? Name one section of your contract which would be violated if the Delta pilots flew an RJ70? Even if our scope allowed the unlimited 70 seaters you want, there would still be nothing in either contract preventing Delta from operating 70 seaters and the Delta pilots from flying them. No judge in the world would provide relief from something which does not violate your contract.~~~^~~~ said:If the RJDC is smart, they have had their request for injunctive relief written for about as long as Delta has had bankruptcy attorneys on retainer and has been refining their motion as this perfect storm continues to brew.

Bye Bye--General Lee
The RJDC law suit was timed within the Statute of Limitations for harm generally caused by changes to the 96 contract language (after operational control of ASA and Comair was acquired by Delta). No Judge in the world would uphold a contract governing the pay and working conditions of ALPA members without their participation and ratification. Further, ALPA goes outside its employee anti trust exemption when it begins to specify the tools and methods of production. C2K scope is not effective and not enforceable, if challenged. (Just in case you have not already figured that one out with over 1,000 pilots on the street)michael707767 said:Injunctive relief from what? ....
