Best PIREP I ever saw included: RM/People look like ants

As for WILCO . . . . every one of their songs I have heard sounds like they are trying to sound like someone else. One song sounds like the Grateful Dead, another sounds like Dave Matthews, another like Dylan . .. . . yada, yada yada.

now theres a blast from the past that just might require a cocktail or two....

:D .

Anyone remember The Replacements? I remember (what I do remember anyway) having a few cocktails when seeing them and others on the MN bar-circuit back in the olden days. They were all...um....highly energetic and good fun.

Mpls was THE place to be for something different. The later Seattle angst/grunge/wuss thing sucked in comparison, and I sure am glad that's dead.

The Replacements were also known as "The 'Mats" (see previous posts). I still hear them on the radio every week in SoCal.
