Hey H2b you must be one of the rejects that didn't get hired at NJA you sure have a hard on for all of us. Although a small hard on. Hey NJA Owner how come your so smart but ya couldn't even spell Berkshire? Check out the title of your post "Bershire." I never heard of that company. You losers crack me up.

Thanks for giving me a reason to add you to my ignore list. I have yet to see one objective post from you and have little reason to believe you work for my company. Bye-Bye.

I'm sure his feelings are really hurt, I kind of like what he has to say.

You all need to lighten up and laugh at what is posted on this board from time to time.
I will. Remember to also keep your sense of humor the next time your pilot is the bearer of bad news. I know your post (and the posts of the casino folks) just made that decision a lot easier for me to make. Santulli just announced it's getting ready to rain for the next 6 months or so. Everybody remember to keep smiling and bring an umbrella. ;)

Or the crew who decides the aircraft is grounded (just to make a point) because a fueling placard is missing on the fueling panel. Do any of you pilots realize that when the company sells a trip, it costs us (and not the owners) money?

You really need to do some research before you open your mouth and insert your foot my friend. IF THE PLACARD IS REQUIRED PER THE AFM, IT IS REQUIRED FOR FLIGHT. If it is missing and we fly it, we could (if we are caught) be violated. I am not willing to take that chance. I am applying to other places in hopes of leaving this sinking ship. Do you think I would be offered a job with a violation on my record. NOPE. Not in todays market. Your arrogance wreeks of ignorance. Speak of what you know, not what you think you know.

BTW, on the Citation X, EVERY placard is a REQUIRED placard. If it is missing, it will not leave the ground.

Actually, when I had about 1000 TT I looked at NetJets, did some research, found out what they paid, and thought someone would have to be nuts to fly a Hawker for that kind of wage (and yes, I was flying the Hawker at 1000 TT for a lot more money). I doubt they were gettin the cream of the crop for 27K/yr... The cream of the crop tends to go on to better pastures than NJA.

Sometimes the cream of the crop turns into sour milk. You've barely got enough total time to get a NJA interview today. At 1000 TT your resume would have went directly into the round file.

That's the point, even as an underqualified, hopeful, potential future applicant I never gave them a second look (due to pay). And from what these guys are saying about people dropping like flies from initial new-hire class, I've got plenty of experience.

Oh poor DickItcher, I mean Dispatcher please don't ignore me. Come back and play.

H2b go back to your microsoft flight sim and stop trying to be a real pilot. Maybe spend some more of your time at www.wannbepilotcan'tgetlaid.com. I bet you wear those ray ban glasses just like in Top Gun.

Wow, this topic took off out of control..

First off, guess you better label me BAD, I thought NJAOwner's phony article was quite funny.

Second, yes the biilboards, profane and threatening messages, and all around harda** attitudes have helped convinced the mediator to dump us right into the deep freeze. I always hated being labeled a teamster because it conjurs up images of beer truck drivers and such, now we are starting to fit that image. New collars anyone?????

Not a real pilot.... Gee whiz, that's low man .... I've got lots a time tonite. Off the top of my head the BOW of the Hawker tended to be around 16000 or so with Max T.O of about 27400 (max ramp was 27520 I think), max landg of 23350 give or take. Max a/s for the TKS was 230 kias...

Forgive some inaccuracies as I don't even fly the Hawker anymore (been about 3 years ago). I can tell you whatever you want about the Lear 31A (since that's what I'm currently driving) but I need not prove anything to you... What FlightSafety's do you go to ??? Been to FSI Wilmington, Bob Malley is an outstanding Hawker guy... Or for the Lear I would highly recommend Mr. Pfieffer at FSI Tuscon.

Please stop making a fool of yourself, especially with the wannbepilotcan'tgetlaid.com remarks... As for the sunglasses, I recommend Serengeti Autobahn's, they cut through the haze like noboby's business and are compatible with any of the windshields...

Next time you're in central NC PM and we'll have a beer talk. It's just airplanes and this is a public aviation discussion forum, not the Geneva Peace Accords. If this gets so wound up to the point of personal attacks, log-off... I realize things really suck at Netjets now and you're all very frustrated. But I think if your union would start making friends instead of these seemingly random shots across everyone elses bow, you'd get a lot further in you career no matter if it's at NetJets or not... Just leave us 91/135 guys alone no matter whose trips we fly and concentrate your anger at the company whose robbing you blind with these crazy low wages (even if you knew that going in)... Now sir let me refer you to an outstanding post, I hope he doesn't mind me reproducing it over here... But it pretty much sums up how most others feel...

Chup? Yosemite? You've gotta' remember that the company can be run however management wants. Have you ever run a business? The company owes you nothing... Not a job, not anything over minimum wage, not a retirement plan, not MLK Day off, nothing. It's their choice how to treat their employees, and it's your choice whether to work there, strike there, or run screaming into the street.
If you work for a good organization, they take good care of you. If you don't, you get the shaft. I can't figger out why people can't figger that out.
If going on strike gets you another $30,000 a year, I guess that's great, but in the current economic climate, a lot of folks with jobs have decided to hunker down and see what happens.
[Up on the soapbox for a rant]
But I am certainly not gonna' tell the company I do contract charter work for to stuff it if they call me to take a trip. My job description as father/husband clearly states that I need to take care of my family. That's what it's all about for me. I must do this, not some union, my 'pilot brothers', the companies I work for, or 'the state' (nod to my communist friends.) Getting fired from my part-time job by refusing to take trips this summer would get me called before the review board at the home office, if you know what I mean, because it would take a bite out of the budget at my very old-fashioned, nuclear, mom-stays-at-home-with-the-kids household.
I quit a couple of jobs to get where I'm at. I was searching and saw opportunity. In fact, I'm still searching. A smart pilot always is. It seems to me (and many other non-union, non-frax pilots) that some of the frax pilots that I bump into on the road might have better spent their excess energy over the last 2 years looking for a different job rather than b!tch!ng about the one that they currently hate.
[/Off of soapbox, end of rant]
