Well this thread has run amok ! LOLOL.

And again, why is anyone arguing with people with crew service people with 12 years of high school education and nothing more ? Pointless. LMFAO !!!

Take a pay cut? Probably not. I do however think the pilot force is very deserving of a pay raise / adjustment. You will never hear me say otherwise.

As far as pilots intentionally writing things up, it happens. It's a very small percentage of you guys, but it does happen. My post stated that most of you guys are professional and I truly believe that. It's only a small percentage of your peers that do these things.

Some guy

You are a complete nutcase SOMEDUMBASSGUY...and I am LMFAO !!!!!!!!

You obviously dont have a clue about the people working in the casino. A high percentage of the people have their bachelors degree or better.....

This is ridiculous. The people in the casino do a great job, thanks.

Don't be baited into criticising your coworkers and pilots at sister companies by TROLLS.

NJA Owner,

Yea my attitude is pretty bad when it comes to leptons who think they are comedians. Just because you're riding around in a private jet doesn't mean you shouldn't have a little compassion for the guys/gals cartin your smart ass around. I think your joke was poorly timed. There are lives being messed up with all the trouble in the fracs right now. And not because you're late for your tee-time. I don't work for netjets. But at my company we have an acting ceo who coud'nt run Shuttle America. He has done nothing but push the pilots since he has arrived. Instead of taking care of the owners. Which is his main purpose for breathing. Don't spit in my food and then bring it to me with a smile by saying owners care about the pilots that fly them. If you gave a crap you would realize all we are trying to do is get your dumb ass to your destination safely so we can get home to our families. If you think otherwise you are naive. When your company screws with your basic QOL issues and doesn't give a crap about only affecting 100 or so folks in the process, you are nothing but a number to them. Not a person. So stick your fly safe, notes where the sun don't shine, cause we do that every day. Because we are professionals, no matter how poorly our company treats us, or how little we are respected of by some of our owners.

I won't deny that, however, you haven't disagreed with anything I have said.
I won't argue with you since you must be so smart. After all, I havent finished my degree yet, so I fall in with the 12 year high school group you referred to earlier.

You are the best Mr. TurboJetCpt and don't ever forget that!!!

Just got back

NJA, Just got back last month. Thats the good news.

The bad news is the contract is not done, and I think I made the list for another trip, to Afghanistan this time. (I do have options, I can volunteer for another turn in Iraq)

I was talking off line to family guy, I don't want the company to close, I want it to do great. We are constantly hammered by corporate guys here. I do think we deserve equal pay. I just don't get why the company is screwing with us so hard.

Family Guy

I'd have to agree with as214 on that one. The environment there is very un appealing.

I can respect the fact that some may not want to step in and try to fix the problems we have. Contrary to popular belief, I dont think it is as easy as it looks... if it were, our problems would have been solved by now. (Another lesson that I've learned over the years is that there will always be problems. We solve some, but as we grow we encounter new ones.)

I do not respect anyone that claims to have the solution but is afraid to get involved in solving the problem. IMHO, people should step up and put their reputation where their mouth is, or shut up and get out of the way. In simplest terms, If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.

Oh family guy do tell! What great solutions have you offered? Please give specifics about how you fixed a problem. I can tell you that the union travel committee saved the company millions in hotel cost annually. What have you done?

I do my job everyday, looking for ways to be more productive, so that we can handle more flights everyday without increasing staff. If you guys would stop thinking your situation is the center of the universe, then maybe you'd realize that the casino has gotten a lot more efficient over the last few years. How many flights a day are we handling now vs 3 years ago? How much has our staffing increased vs 3 years ago?

As for the union travel committee saving millions in hotel cost annually, you'll have to prove that one to me. What exactly has the committee done that's saved millions? I dont think recommending a change from a Hilton to an Embassy Suites will save us millions. And does your post mean to imply that the committee is actually out there renegotiating contracts? Does all that pilot expertise now entend into negotiating hotel deals? or are you taking credit for the work of others in the casino?

If we really want to save millions in hotel costs then we should look at using Best Western's, Holiday Inn's, Radisson's, etc.... just like the airlines do.

Am I advocating using those types of hotels? No. I think the current choices of Hiltons, Hyatts, etc provide a much more comfortable and restful atmosphere for the pilots. But everyone should realize that part of that high cost structure of NetJets is to provide QOL for the crews on the road.

Doesn't Motel 6 make the most sense? Perhaps they could pitch a GP tiny outside the FBO and save some really big bucks.

Once again Family Guy, What the f have you done to save this company money give me a date, time, situation, job specific that you saved this company money? Yes the union travel committee did save the company millions in hotel costs. We tried to save the company a ton of money on airline costs but they declined. I guess you were not at that round table meeting.

Don't post or read very often. Now I know why.

NJOwner, you're not funny. Kind of had a Massa and Slave flavor to it.
