I kind of have myself backed into a sticky corner. It’s experimental so I could just do it, but I would probably have to chuck the mechanic then and I kind of need him for future problems I can’t handle. And in actuality he is correct, Berlinger just needs to manufacture a plate to match the standard Cubcrafters axle as should have been done. I’ll go nuclear next week, I’ll keep you in the loop.

Given were experimental could you have someone build you the correct plate?

Definitely could, but the set up to mill and anodize two plates would be much greater than if Berringer would just fabricate a part that would apply to all the dual caliper brakes they have sold and all future that will be sold. I could easily drill a fourth hole and get around the manufacture error as Neal has done, and will probably end up doing just that in the long run, but it's a matter of principle now. I would think that the combination of Berringer brakes and 31" Bushwheels should not be sold until a plate is manufactured to allow the dual calipers to be installed without user modification or compromise. Single caliper Berringers and 31" Bushwheels is totally inadequate.
