You turned down an interview at JB? I've been applying since day one and I know our times are probably pretty identical... Go figure. Yeah, you're right, I'll make you buy beers all night for all your good luck!

Yep, number two for us - first boy... Richard III of course. ;) Now just have to make sure he learns to fly without wanting to do it for a living. Cardio Thoracic surgeon has a nice ring to it. :p

Be good, have a great time, and drop us a line sometime!

OK... thread highjack over. Sorry guys, but at least it was hijacked for good news for SOMEBODY...

Step up and save the industry

goggles. if mangt worked for free like Miller at Delphi, would everyone be happy? If all the managment that made more than the top paid pilot worked for free, every pilot could get like a $3/wk raise. Boy that would sure cement managment/pilot relations. And for all the pilots with the answers on how to manage an airline for gad's sake step up and save the industry while working for free.

As stated before, Northwest will accomplish two things with Newco....

1. Flying similar size aircraft at a lower rate....then.....
2. Sell the company out-right to raise money for the remaining company.

The Northwest pilot group really needs to check the full history of Mid-Atlantic. The hand writing is on the wall.

INewCo... Who the Hell dreamed that crap up ? When will it end. 20 to go.

When will it end? When everybody has been "broken down" and is ready to accept working for poverty wages.

Maybe all those airline oriented flight schools will be able to skip the regional "crap", and advertise interviews straight into a wide body jet!!!

Best of luck to all you guys going through all this bankruptcy crap--looks like this is the end of the dream job industry as we've known it.

Number 2 should read.... "Sell the company out-right to provide exessive executive bonuses, then put the small remainder into the remaining company.

320 - Well said. I guess I didn't take my thought far enough.

The point I'm trying to make is for the Northwest guys/gals to do a little research about how this has been done before them. Those that I ask have no clue about Mid Atlantic Airlines. Its like a deer in the headlights. Most have never heard of them at all. Just trying to help those see whats around the corner with "Newco". Good luck all.

Thanks for the thought.....we need all the help we can get.

Surprisingly, a lot of "MidAtlantic drumbeating" has been going on. Not one pilot here trusts anything Management says or does. Especially after they openly violated our CBA with Champion flights. Almost everybody realizes that NEWCO is a smoke-and-mirrors scheme by the Executive weasels.

What a bunch of tools,

How about the fact that they openly violated the contract by hosing the furlough pay from the furloughees as well?
