FX3-0162That is interesting for sure, what is your serial number?
For sure, the only other real issue I have had is a fine oil mist on my windshield, like micro fine. Barely noticeable but still concerning. Turned out to be coming from the zerk fitting under the prop nose cone , took forever to find the source.Gets more interesting! FX3-0164
Yup, you're supposed to grease the prop annually or every 100 hours I think it is. I did my first condition inspection this past summer, greased it and thought I had a big problem. Nope, grease in grease out seems to be the thing with greasing the prop. Still to this day I see traces of grease on the prop. I'll still grease it, better than not, but maybe cut back the amount in the future. Lot's to learn and that's why I like people being here so we can learn from each other. For sure, the only other real issue I have had is a fine oil mist on my windshield, like micro fine. Yup, pretty simple.Hartzel’s recommendation to me was to use at most 1 oz of grease which calculates to about 5 shots.
