That guy is actually a stealth recruiter for GIA.

He told me this when we were bangin some sky-muffins on a random DH and he asked me what GIA was paying me, I just told him that I was a stud, he then cried...

pimpin out the the hoes while commuting/dead heading.... now that sounds like a logical business to pull down some extra cash. i'm in.

There isn't a lot of people in this industry who have six pack abs like me. He could have been one of us "the master race!"

Nice comments but a little over the top. Are you addressing AWAC or the regionals as a whole? FYI . . .

1. Most AWAC pilots (CA's and Fo's hired with real experience) disagree with ATW hiring low timers and pay to play FNG's. They first started this ploy in 2003 and if you were a Great Lakes CA with over 1000 TPIC you were overqualified and not hired. They'll hire FO's from other airlines but are too cheap to lose their own.

2. We have a little know mechanism (in the regionals) in our United Concessionary contract, a real wage adjustment clause. They took the avg of the six largest independent regionals pay for position and year, and brought us up to that plus 2% (or existing pay if we were above that). In our case the raises this spring were from 2%-4.5%. We still get COL raises also. Our "$21" FO now starts at $24, 2nd yr $35, 8th yr maxes out at $42.

If that story is true, our little FO punk did show bad judgement. At least wear a golf shirt, get her number and save it for later, if you can't hold back your raging hormones.

Actually, AWAC seems to be "quiet" in terms of lowering the bar. I think you guys are doing OK, all things considered. Oh, and BTW, I hope you guys put a hurt on Mesa with the AWA flying.

Actually I think pretty good of you AWAC guys. And BTW, I would love to see you put some hurt on Mesa with the AWA flying.

I still have more hoes in different area codes, you sound like a skigskag~Fruity fairy~

There are a couple of hot little female FOs from AWAC wondering around PHL. I'm a Dash pilot though, so whenever I wonder around the "jet" gates I get stupid and can't talk right.

Thats what we get for pilots. Unfortunatly the ones who do the hiring for FA's are either over weight old women, or heterosexually impared men.

cheers!

I am in full agreement, but want to add some bitches...

1. if ia m paid less than any other professional, less than many non professional careers, less than any of my friends working in teh professional world, why should i care what my crappy old uniforn looks like? i cannot afford to buy new pants, so i can give a crap if they have holes in them. My blazer has no liner.....so i never wear it, even in the winter.

my point is, if they are going to pay me less than 30 grand a year for over three years, i should be able to wear khakis, polo, whatever fing teeshirt i want to wear. oh baseball cap, and a goatee

Not that I'm attempting to pass any kind of judgement about this particular situation, but wouldn't a better place to take any sort of issue like this up be the AWAC pro standards committee??

Furthermore, if we as a group (regional airline pilots) spent half as much time getting together to make this a better way to make a living, as opposed to sniping at one another we'd probably be a lot better off...... I don't care if you wear a backpack, listen to an iPod, frost your hair, or hit on some chick across the aisle from you. What I do care about is concessionary contracts, not flying aircraft for what they are worth, and the general downward spiral that our little segment of the industry has taken. Worry about fixing the broken industry, and then look to fix your fellow pilots.

The public could care less about what we look, act, or smell like. They want to get there on time, safely, and for the least amount of money. Of that little bit of money that they are willing to pay, we need to work together as a whole to get the largest portion of it possible. Flying bigger aircraft for the same, or less money is not the way to achieve that.

Maybe a few lessons in constructive English might help your position? Or as you mention in your profile maybe you are hoping that your "buger flipping" may help some (whatever that maybe but I really shouldn't ask!!)

I love Women... I am a womanizer...I don't stinking care. Sounds like someones jealous that they haven't got ass in 5 years and are still living with their parents.
