On right now - stupid commentators very amusing!
I think we already discussed on another thread that Court TV is pre-empted. Which I think means that once these guys get tried on Court TV, they cannot be tried again on another court television program...unless it's Double Jeopardy.

the more i listen to the commentators on court TV, the more angry i get. Those 'batches' ought to shut their pie holes!

It doesn't even make sense what they're saying.

Dude, there's an entire crop of these "ladies" and "gentlemen" in school as we speak. In some of my classes, all they can talk about is "child molesters" and "castration". (no lie, one of my friends said that an attorney told him that there are more people in law school right now, than there are attorneys...what does that tell you? And I'm in school with these "world savers"! :) )

I'll admit, there's a problem with that crime and those criminals...but come on, think about it...we as whole, know more people that died of cancer, car crashes, medical issues and murder, than we will ever know of people that commited or were victims of child molestation. Not belittling the crime, but for crying out loud, I just asked my wife...who lived in the same town all her life, did you know of any child molestors? She said no. I asked her how many people she knew that died in car accidents or some other really big tragedy...she said she knew a few.

It appears to me that there is a "culture" of hysteria in this country...and it is fed by the media and policticians looking for a "foothold" to gain constituants.

This AWA story, the recent ADIZ busts and the C-17 story I posted, is just proof that people are looking for material to create a new hysteria, or that modern people are prone to hysteria.

I hate to try and correlate child molesting to this AWA case, but it is there...just sit in some of my CJ classes. These freaks are hysteria-maniacs.

This also correlates to the assault rifle issue, because they created a hysteria based response from people for the whole ten years it was in effect...it's as if politics and the media has become hysteria driven and people are now starting to become hysteria reactivists.

Take a look at the C-17 story I posted...HYSTERIA!!! ARGH! I'm going to buy a crotch rocket and continue to skydive and fly CARAVANS...and all you freaks that are scared of your own shadows, can kiss my lilly white ass! Untill I'm dead...then you can "hysteria" that!

P.S. You can ask my wife...she thinks we're raising a whole society of Pu$$ies...no schitt?

I solved that. Tore up my last Direct TV bill, and walked right past the dammed' USA Today stand.
aaahhhh like a breath of fresh mountain air to be done with that craziness.

If you feel strongly about the commentary, go to www.courttv.com and go to the "about us" page and write an email to Nancy Grace. I did.

Let me first say that I know both of these pilots - most especially the Captain. I never saw him act out of line nor drink within the 12 hours (that was the rule at AWA) while I flew with him - and I flew with him for about 3 months straight.

About Nancy Grace - some of her comments yesterday were SO stupid!

Here are some excerpts from my email that I sent to her (not that she gives a darn):

To say that you do not want to see a Pilot in "their shorts or ever drinking a drink" is absurd! Can you say the same thing about your doctor? By the way, they drink too. (comment I am just making here - as if flight crew members are NEVER supposed to have a life outside the airline! )

Also, in reference to the the incident about the coffee, let me explain why that was a big deal. When the TSA came into power after 9/11, they were (and still are) the worst to flight crew members. I can attest that once, when I was flying out of Wichita, I was harassed by them for having my computer in my bag. This was about 2 weeks after 9/11, they were changing rules every day, and there was no sign up that said to take the computer out of my bag.

What ensued after that was the screeners searching my entire bag - in front of all the passengers. If you understand the Wichita airport, only one airline flight leaves at a time. When a passenger behind asked if they needed to search her bag, the agent replied, "No, you’re just fine." As if I, as a crew member, was a potential criminal. It does not impart a great deal of trust in your passengers that you have to serve for the next three hours!

Giving you that background, I hope that sheds some light into WHY they did not want to give up their coffee. They had just spent $5-$7 on a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and the TSA wanted them to throw it away. The rules were different back then at EVERY airport, and the TSA had no authority to ask them to throw away their coffee.

I have watched your program for a while now, and it seems to me that you do not possess a "non-biased" journalist attitude. You need to state only what the facts are in the case or the story without prejudice or bias. Maybe you have to have these opinions because of the type of program you promote. But please, give people the benefit of the doubt, and remember the "innocent until proven guilty" language that our legal system affords.

Also, please do not convict every pilot for the "alleged" actions of these two pilots.
