Just heard a rumor, wondering if anyone
knows anything about it.

I heard that the ex-UAL MEC chairman
signed an agreement with Avolar
that relieves them of the contract
requirement to staff the Airbus aircraft
with United pilots.

Bus Rumors

Hmmm, A rumor...wait...A rumor from ALPA..go figure!!

Hmmmmmmmmmm

First off EX-MEC chairman can't sign legal agreements between the union and the company over AVOLAR.

Second off, there is no way the pilot group will concede flying of those sized airplanes by non-UAL pilots.

Third off, the person that told you that well lets just say they may have just taken something illegally...LOL

Humble

Bigger rumor is that there is going to be an announcement soon on the latest investor in Avolar. Warren Buffet! 49% share of the company. Things that make you go HMMMMMM

Avolar

Did that come from ALPA also???
And it's Buffett, I think!!

Maybe

Maybe they got the rumor wrong and it Jimmy Buffett...all crewmembers will be called Parrotheads and Margaritas will be stocked on board. Sorry drifting away to Margaritaville here.

Humble Pirate

Hey wait a minute!!! Jimmy does operate a DA50...Now what?!?!?
The plot thickens!!!

Glad to see someone noticed my spelling it is Buffet the way he has been eating up aviation business.
