I'm double digit on a seniority list that's about to increase 5 fold in a very short time. I took the road less traveled and that made all the difference.

I simply stated some facts about NJA health insurance and meals, I watched two Avantair pilots bitching up a storm in the fbo last week because they didn't have have the food they requested that's why I mentioned the food issue.

Not to belabor the point but...
I don't know about you, but when you say, "there are better companies out there" and you are refering to MY company then I take that as somewhat insulting. You then go on to ask the retorical question, "what's captain pay at Avonair?" Double insult there. First you know the captain pay is lower at Avantair and I am guessing the use of "Avonair" is some attmept to make NetJets seem more masculine by infering that Avantairs pilots are less than manly or something. Maybe just a typo I don't know but regardless the post is FLAME.

I did read all of it. I don't think you were advancing the discussion and therefore still fall short of you own definition in my opinion. Reread my reply and you'll see reference to your retorical questioning of Avantairs captain pay and a little mention of your spelling of "Avantair".
I'm sure we've bored the entire viewing public with this garbage. Again, NetJet is a solid company. I really trully hope you have the best of luck there and enjoy all that aviation has to offer. Fly safe.

Have things changed at NJA?
Last I heard, not only has NJA limited the number of domiciles to 5, DAL PBI TEB LAX and CMH but now, a new hire can't even pick from the 5. They are asked in the interview where they would like to be based and are only hired if there is an opening in the domicile? Any truth to that? Either way, you can't "live where ever you want" any longer. The new contract they finally signed ended that for any new hires. If you were grandfathered in, you are living the high life. But for those of us not there yet, Avantair or Citationshares may be a better choice. I know the money might not be as good, but it also isn't good enough at NJA for me to uproot my family. Just my personal opinion of course.
