The Mesa guys did what they had to do to pay the bills. Whining about it won't resolve something that ALREADY HAPPENED. This whole argument about screwing the rest of the industry is total crap. "Stand up for your brothers" they say. BS. This is a dog eat dog business and if you cant hang, then go work for the march of dimes. Whatever egalitarian tendencies that existed in this industry are long gone and probably will never return. So deal, find something more constructive to talk about, and move on. Even better, save your breath lambasting mesa guys about a godawful situation and focus your energy on how we can fix it.
Once again we get enlightened from someone who either is not part of the airline game, or has been in it too short to have developed a valid opinion.
"Stand up for your brothers" they say. BS.
By doing this, you are standing up for yourself by consequence.
This is a dog eat dog business and if you cant hang, then go work for the march of dimes.
Take your Corporate America selfishness and YOU go work for the march of dimes. Until recently, this has NOT been a dog eat dog profession. It was like a good club, almost a brotherhood.
Whatever egalitarian tendencies that existed in this industry are long gone and probably will never return.
Look at history, Professor Economics. It always has, and it will again. But it is going to take a while. It won't matter though, as long as people like you exist. You have the true grit of a natural born quitter.
I can understand the corner these guys were in. Being the first ones to have to deal with this issue, Freedumb, etc. But the agreement let Ornstein essentially take over the world. And it is being done at the Mesa pilots expense. And that of the airlines JO is digesting like a sick kind of cancer. The sad thing is that there are some who think that THEY came out on top in this. Only one guys is laughing, and that's JO.
