From what I saw of some of the senior ATR guys over the years, the company would be better off putting those guys in the right seat and paying CN bypass pay to everyone else! ;-)



There's a coupla guys that won't do well with the automation.

However, there's only one seniorish guy that I know of that will have problems with the transition, and he prolly shouldn't be flying anyways.

Speaking like someone who sounds like they are current ATR and not Jet. Watching some of these lifer ATR guys come over is scary!

According to some of the training department also, Delta doesn't want us to get rid of them. I hope this is true.
 
Well Delta owns 4 of them and leases the other ten.

The leases are up and supposedly the owned ones are spoken for already...

I'm going to miss em!
 
Foolish to get rid of them with the price of fuel. Can't believe there isn't a very good place for them on the new DAL/NWA network.
 
I'm ready to see them go. Flew them for too long. Too hot in the summer and the mx cost combined with the on time delays/cx more than eat up the savings in fuel.
