Word of mouth from an experienced CFI/ATP familiar with the area: No.

However, I personally have not seen anything written.
 
Contact the local police department and check. Also, if you belong to Seaplane Pilots Association they can tell you. Another rule of thumb, if the river or lake is considered a "Navigable Water Way" you can land and takeoff at you leasure.

Try the Army Corps of Engineers - they created and maintain the reservoir, as well as own the right of way on the shoreline (since it's not technically a lake).
 
I have a friend that lives on the lake and he has told me that float planes are not allowed. I believe that it's a locale ordanance.
 
Every year I hear about someone that drowns because they got caught on some branches under water or a boat that is damaged due to the same reason. There is a lot of stuff on the bottom. I like the water park though.
