Getting hired is all about attitude. I've run into so many people since 9/11 that have the attitude that the world owes them something because they've been at a major and have 10,000 hours of flight time.

If you think the world has taken a dump on your career, you HAVE to put it behind you. Put on the same face you had when interviewing for that very first commuter job (or military slot) and act like you're grateful to be alive.

Whether it was Air Wisconsin people interviewing at UAL after that mess in the early 90's, Eastern or PanAm guys after their hosings or me last year, you just have to put pride aside and find your happy place (or some such B.S.) and not show your anger to the interviewers.

Most interviewers can see a chip on your shoulder from a mile away. JMO.TC
