Due to being furloughed I have had to sell my house and have put things in storage. Unfortunetly, I have misplaced some important addresses in the move (I know, pretty stupid). If anyone has the method or address to update the ATA application, can you please post? Thanks.

Same as you set the last one to:

ATA
P.O. Box 51609
Indianapolis, IN 46251

Attn: Capt. Mike Gerdes IND Regional Chief Pilot

Good luck.

update

Thanks for the address. I just want to give them my new address. So do I just send them a resume with the new address and tell them this is an update to an application? Sorry for all the questions. I have done updates before with fedex and JB on the internet or on a scan-tron form like United, but I am unfamiliar with ATA's update procedure. Again thanks for any info.

Yeah, I'd send a resume with the new information and a nice cover letter explaining the reason for the update. The Flight Department secretaries will enter the information into the computer they have to keep track of all that stuff. This is also a good time to include any new letters of recommendation that you have received from ATA pilots. I know of a few guys who updated with new recs and got called for an interveiw soon after. The update made them look at their files again and generated the interview.

Good Luck again.

Anyone know if ATA requires one to give up thier seniority number if furloughed from another airline ?

Anyone know of ....

Has anyone done a sim prep for the ATA interview. I hear that you go up to Purdue and fly the 727-100 for the interview.

A training Captain at ATA told me someone rents out the that sim for preps, but I don't know who does it.

thanks..

Call John Young at Purdue University. 765-494-9969. He can help you with getting time in the actual sim for the ATA interview. Good Luck.

sayagain?

Hi!

I'm pretty sure you have to give up your number.

There is a crew base at LAX, but that's only for the L1011 I believe, and I don't think very many new guys get the 1011. I've heard rumours they're phasing it out.

Bases...

737 - MDW, IND
757 - MDW, IND, SFO, LAX
L10 - JFK, IND, LAX, SFO

Don't know about having to give up your seniority number.
