I find your posts to be annoying.
So much so I just spent 10 bucks and joined to tell you that.
Why do you call more than once?
One call is all they get from me.
I heard a guy calling for a huffer ten times yesterday. One call is all I give them. If I need external power, A/C, or a huffer, my next call is to tell them: We are going inside, you give me a call when everything I need is hooked to the airplane and we'll come back out.

Once? I don't call at all. I sit there and LET THE SYSTEM WORK. They know airplanes need fuel, passengers, and services. It's not my job to remind them.
It will interesting to see if things get better by June 1. I am cautiously optimistic that it will improve. I agree with you that we shouldn't have to tell them anything. It "should" be automatic.
Delta can't rehire many ASA people because they cannot pass the drug test. They are going to have to find new people to fill many positions. Hopefully higher pay and better screening will improve the pool.
Improve? It's going to be a meltdown! Delta can't get enough of them hired and past the drug test.
Also, the house of cards is about to fall. ASA will have no more excuses for poor operational management. Especially when they announce that we're losing our flight benefits and half the flight attendants quit that week (Inflight is already drastically short handed, because they just fired some 60 FAs for attendance "occurances"). Oh, on that note, I talked to a dispatcher yesterday, and they've also been notified that our S3 priority is going away June 1. They won't let the crews know until the last minute because they know there will be mass resignations.

What exactly does this mean? I'm kinda new here, and haven't done any recreational flying. Does this mean that my family can't get on Delta anymore?
Kids, please remember that if you misplace something or have it taken away, you lose it....If we loose anything it is a reduction in our compensations whether flight, medical...
Something I´ve been thinking during all of the ¨rumors¨of lost flight benefits, is who else is willing to negotiate to keep current benies?
First think about this....our benefits including the flight benefits are a form of compensation. Whether ASA or DAL is paying for them is irrelevant, they ARE a form of compensation.
When I was looking for a regional to work for the flight benefits that ASA enjoyed/enjoys were one of the main reasons for me to come to ASA. If we loose anything it is a reduction in our compensations whether flight, medical, or hourly pay all benefits we get. I am tired of management everywhere especially ASA cutting our benefits.
Whay can´t we keep the same ones we currently have? Worldspan and some other former DAL contract company still enjot the benefits they had during their relations with Delta. Why can´t we enjoy the same? I think we can.....and I don´t feel we shuold have to negotiate for it but I am willing to.
Better yet what happen to status quo?
Sorry Leroy, must´ve been the 5th Jack and Coke that did my spellin in!
Carry on dick....................
1. As the RJDC says, "We Don't Negotiate With Delta" (but we should). We have no forum to negotiate pass benefits.
2. Our benefits have been decreasing for years. Have you gone to the doctor lately and had labs done or gotten a prescription? Yikes! Our out of pocket costs have more than doubled.
3. The best solution is to join everybody else and update your resume. Vote on the "new contract" with your feet.
I disagree. We can negotiate whatever we want. It is up to mgmnt to make it happen. How that works isn't my problem. It CAN BE DONE!!
Why don't you think they can provide this? Not true. It would be very irresponsible for management to offer something in negotiations that they have no power to provide.
