I can’t fault anybody about personal opinions. Years ago I had a similar opinion about Airways but somehow they pulled a rabbit out of their ass and survived. Just like some kind of Frankenstein they survive by absorbing one good airline after another as they lurch along.

Now they hold a good friend of mine hostage who is a westie.

Funny thing is a month or two ago I heard a rumor that Sky West was nosing around Mesa HQ. At about the same time someone was telling people that they (Sky West) would be taking some aircraft leases off our hands. I dismissed it as complete bunk.

Now who knows?...Good luck to us all.

I had a feeling we would do all this downsizing for a slow winter, then Delta would go ahead and change their mind and ramp up the flying. Looks like come November we'll be in Summer 09 Madness mode again. At least we'll have a lil more variety of flying besides in and out of ATL all day.

NOT. DAL is only increasing our block hours to meet required min block hours over a 3 month average. It's coming from other DCI guys and will go back to them in a month or so.
