ASA Upgrade???

Upgrade CR7 and CR2 went to 9/23/02 hires on the preliminary awards. Last CR2 upgrade went to a 11/13/00 hire on the finals.

Source 7-03 Final, 7-05/6 Preliminary award bids sheets. (There was no 07-04 bid because it was withdrawn when the Company realized they had no followed the agreement on bids for the pilots getting displaced out of Los Angeles)

As stated before. Only on the E120. Not the jet. And the people you speak of had a great deal more experience, freight, MIL and corp..., than the 200 TT pilots now. Big difference.

True but strange....the E-120 took real pilots to fly safely. The Barbie Jet is a kids plane.

Ain't that the truth.... Of course the more computers we have to keep the 200 hr. wunderkind from running off the end of a snow covered runway or burning up two good engines at FL 410, the better off we are. Not trying to be a jerk or disrespect those who have passed on, but that's truly the reality now.

Remember, ASA seems to be shrinking a bit, or that seems to look like the plan. Atkin says he will transfer our aircraft to Skywest if we are even 1% more costly. ATR's will eventually leave. Attrition will cover the loss of aircraft over time, so don't go getting real excited about a quick upgrade at ASA. They can just shrink the airline and use attrition as an excuse.

Who will fly them? They aren't staffed any better than anyone else, and not enough newbies are coming on. JA knows this is a threat he can't keep without a lot of pain. The only thing he could do is merge and staple us, and that would be ugly.
