The last major Dominican market missing, Puerto Plata, from the DL network will start this December. DL already serves Santiago, Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.

The service will be a mix of DL mainline and DL Connection. DL has a lot of RJ flights to the Caribbean lately (STX, BQN, PSE, KIN, etc).

I heard a rumor today that we're starting service to 10 new cities within the next month or so. I don't pay attention enough to know if they were already announced or an announcement is forthcoming.

Man I'm so glad that I have never had to ride in a RJ all the way to STX (Virgin Islands). 4 hours in the back of a RJ :puke: ASA Considers this a international jumpseat and will not let crews on. I know this because I had some friends trying to come visit me (Mesaba, Republic) and they denied them in ATL.

ASA is going to the Dominican Republic to hire rampers for ATL. LOL.... BOUY, MON................

Ah, but it makes for a great dayline. 8 hours of flight time in a 10-hour duty day.

Well Flav, you may be on to something. The only problem is that because they randomly drug testing the rampers 40% have failed. I think the % of Dominican Republic rampers wouldn't fare much better.

Cheers

Your going to fail on the first day of class too.

Dominican's cannot be any worse than Atlanta's Ramp Rat's. Just tink, a Big Ole Sammy Sosa looks alikes bez tossin' dem bags 'round......

:bawling:Hey Way2Broke, you have more room in the back of an RJ than you do on a 757. Delta is trying to get every INCH out of their airplanes, so you may sit with your neighbors seat back right in your legs.....GREAT FLIGHTS!!
