You know, if this 705 materializes and has only 70 seats, the range of this aircraft is beyond what we are use to. If we start going beyond 1500 miles, we won't be able to complete the round trip in 8 hours. Since most of these places are probably going to be once a day, we are looking at 24 hour overnights. Here are numbers from Bombardier:

and that leaves you with 15,800 payload. Carrying 70 people 1500nm is easy. Should be spaced out enough to be as comforatable as the E-170 and we will be flying 10% faster on the same burn. Sounds like a winner to me.
