ASA Stuck on days off pay question

I'm pretty certain that the Regs let you deadhead home on your 7th day. Your contract may supersede that though, I'm not familiar with it.

The Regs say that a pilot will receive one day free of all duty. It does not say where and it does not restrict the pilot from doing what he wants to do on his own time.

If he chose to fly home on his day off--no harm from the FAA.
