It was just posted at 0030 on the 30th. Same as last nights...they are still negotiating and expect to do so through the night...and just as last night, they cannot divulge info to us.

This could be a good sign?!?

We shall see

This is a good sign. We are finally in the end game if they are going to negotiate thru the night AND the NMB has a gag rule on the information. Real negotiating is coming from BOTH sides now....

Expect to see COLA, little change in 700 pay, no full retro, and mediocre scope with a possible PBS side letter...

The "super late night" update was as follows:

ASA Master Executive Council
June 29, 2007
NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE
Mediated negotiations resumed Friday in Atlanta. Discussions began in the morning and continued through until 1:30 A.M. Saturday. Once again we are very disappointed in the outcome of the negotiations. After a very long session the parties came closer on the issues conceptually but no agreement was reached.
Unfortunately, at the direction of the mediator we are not at liberty to discuss the specifics of the proposals that were made. The Association firmly believes that we have made every effort to reach an agreement. We showed considerable flexibility in our issues and reduced the gap in our proposals but in the end management did not meet expectations.

WHAT A JOKE!!!

Once again we are very disappointed in the outcome of the negotiations. After a very long session the parties came closer on the issues conceptually but no agreement was reached. The NMB flunky ordered us to continue negotiations.
Unfortunately, at the direction of the mediator we are not at liberty to discuss the specifics of the proposals, cause they suck really bad. The Association sort of believes that we have made kind of an effort to reach an agreement. We showed a little bit of flexibility in our issues and reduced the gap in our proposals but in the end management did not meet expectations. So we kicked Bryan LeBrecque in the nuts, called him a fag and walked out.

Good.....break all the phones, laptops and furniture....the lights....chairs....PUT DEFERRED stickers on everything including the bathrooms. No cell phones and Turn the AC off and make them switch rooms every 2 hours.....write em up when they even mention getting something to EAT. Call em every 3 hours and ask em "where are you?" Have some fool run into the room every 5 minutes to ask em.."Are you ready to board?" At the end of a 16 hour day......give em 9 hours reduced domicile rest after a 45 minute wait for tha van and then lock them back in another room for another 14 hours....stretchable to 16. Oh...one more thing....Lose their overnight bag. That'd get it DONE!

Not saying its not true, but I have not recieved any email update as of 7am.

Can anyone confirm BOTH of these updates? Also nothing updated on the ASA ALPA website.

Unfortunately it is true. I just saw it under the Session Briefings page on ALPA.org/asa.
Look under committees/negotiations/session briefings
VERY DISSAPOINTING!
