Some of the ASA schedules are good. I still run into many trips and schedules that are exhausting and sometimes unsafe. Especially with integration I find crew planning putting a nap right before or after a normal long 3 day.
It is obvious they never take into account the human factors and safety when they build some of this stuff. Where the trip falls it falls.
It has been even worse lately because ASA can't run on time. Sure you may have a 9:50 overnight but when done on ASA time, it is more like 8:00.
I experienced this also on reserve, if it is legal it is a go. They never consider the human side of things.
These 5 leg 13:45 hour days with 7.85 hours of flying are BS. You all know how long this day will be in the summer with ASA staffing issues. They must think that every pilot at ASA is a super pilot. Not many pilots will perform at a accurate safe level all day long.
