You have never flown our jet, have you? If you had, you would never even think of FL390 in summer, or-worse, a 250 knot climb at altitude.

You're flying the wrong plane. That's the problem. :D

If ground power and air is available, don't start APU until 10 minutes before departure.-Brett

They need a "project" to do that? I've been doing that for 3 years...even before gas was above $2.

This country needs to learn from this whole energy crisis that the best way is to operating efficiently regardless of if it's financially motivated or not. We're only now shunning SUV's because gas is so high. yay.

But good job anyway ASA. More airlines should follow this.

The difference also is that ASA couldn't do this before. GPUs and Air carts?? In Atlanta? HA!!

The funniest thing is the new jet bridges that supposedly had the power/air turned on this week.....most of them are already broken! Hilarious! I hope they got warrantys or money back on those!

The only thing broken in Atlanta is Atlanta. You can put lipstick on a pig, and it's still a pig. Change the uniform and the name on the paycheck and you still have the same laziness that has plagued C Concourse for years.
