ASA ramp fatalities 5/19

There weren't 2 fatalities.... I suspect some people are just trying to make the company look bad anyway they can... fabricating fatal injuries really crosses the line...

Joe, maybe you're right and I certainly hope so, but the report was on the FAA database, and it showed 2 fatal injuries, with AC 753EV listed as the AC involved. The report can't have been from 2001, as 753 was not built until 2004. If the FAA made a mistake, and I hope they did, then that's that. But it is listed that way. If there is any fabrication here, it's from the FEDs, not me.

I don't know why this is so hard for you to understand. The FAA report posted was NOT from 2001. It involved ship 753EV. Was 753EV at ASA or even in existence in 2001? No, it was registered 2004. I guess you were right about the brains part...

I'm not saying the FAA doesn't make mistakes. I'm simply saying that people seem to be talking about two different incidents. Nothing here has explained why this report is on the FAA database as it is.

Check the FAA website yourself. Check all incidents/accidents for 5-21-07.

If the Feds made a mistake fine but for you to claim that somebody is fabricating this makes you a complete idiot.

OK, I started this thread just looking for some information from someone who might have it. Four pages later and we have no real facts, just a possible explanation and everyone at each other's throats. And this is all within our own company...over a safety issue.
