7/28/79 is the number one CA.

2009 on the list.
#125 ~1990
#200 ~1994-1995
#400 ~1/99
#500 ~6/99
#600 ~1/00
#700 ~5/00
#850-900 somewhere around 1/01
#1100 probably towards the end of 02
#1500 from what I hear is only about 15 months and this is how low RJ CP went in the last bid. The majority of the CP slots went to guys with numbers of 1200-1400, or about 2 years with the company. This included some of the United J4J guys.

Probably another couple hundred more new hires to be added this year. All of the growth would be in ORD and DEN I'd imagine.

How does this compare to ASA for DOH?

1791... Sweet! I must have upgraded without knowing it!

I think Medeco means 1791 pilots total.

Most junior capt (which happened to be an ATR upgrade) was in the low 1200 range.

Regarding the possibility suggested that you may never upgrade, about half of our pilots are negative about the future of ASA, the other half are quite optimistic.

The thing that really sucks is when you happen to be one of the optimistic employees and you get stuck flying with someone who complains like their life is horrible.

From the optimistic side:

Our training department continues to bring in 40 to 50 new F.O.'s every month. This in itself is a huge indication that Delta has continued high hopes for ASA. I'm not sure what the monetary investment is of putting 50 through training, but I imagine it is significant.

We are getting a good number of airplanes.

Contract will come around eventually.

Company is decent.

Attrition is increasing. (hopefully by the people who complain so much)

Yes, they're hiring newhires that can be fired immediately and without cause for a year (probation). However, they're not offering upgrades more than every other month. Doesn't sound like much of an investment in ASA to me.

Senority Number..............Hire date
#1..................................7/79
#2-50...........................4/80-3/85
#51-150........................4/85-11/89
#151-300......................11/89-3/97
#301-500......................3/97-2/99
#501-700......................2/99-11/99
#701-900......................12/99-6/00
#901-1050.....................6/00-10/00
#1051-1300...................10/00-3/02
#1301-1450................... 3/02-12/02
#1451-1600....................12/02-11/04
#1629............................12/04
1629 is the last one on the printed senority list. ASA has hired roughly 100 pilots since 1/05. We have also lost around 65 pilots since 1/05!
As of the June assignments list (doesn't include pilots in training) the
most junior capts by senority number were:
ATR........1057
CR2........1067
CR7ATL...642
CR7SLC...488

Hope that might shed some light on our relative senority compared to other airlines.

Sinca,

According to CP CV we've lost 150 pilots since 1/31/05.

 Listen, I am greatful to have a job just like everyone else! I try to have a good attitude and make it a fun environment! However, when the company continues to treat us like $hit and relish in the fact that they are doing it and continue to drag out this contract (because they can) it starts to get under your skin a bit!
I'm tired of the mgnt double talk, trying to make us think that we are being paid to much...(forget the fact that all of our upper mgnt is probably getting a $hitload of bonuses....) and yet here we have newhires that qualify for food stamps! That should bug you a little!
I'm tired of hearing about how delta flight attendants make 15to 20% more money than I do as a 6 year Capt! Sorry, but that is a LOAD of $HIT!! I would like to get out of debt before I DIE! I don't expect Delta wages, but I expect atleast to be able to make a decent wage!
See Ya'll on the 19th BABY!!!
