So I've spent the last 2 hours taking all of the ASA Oral study guide questions from the training department and formatting them to fit Flash Q/Ard for iPhone. There are a few versions that were already in there but I wanted to get all the text correct, some of the other ones had typos and stuff.

I'm prepping for a PC and figured I might as well make all of my labor free to any ASA folks. Search for CRJ in iTunes to find the app and then in the app search for "ASA CR7/9 Oral Study guide". The one called Part II has just the procedures and flight planning questions, the one above has all 558 questions.

PM me if you see any typos or formatting problems. I've noticed this app is getting more and more aviation content.

Just say fadec and auto repeatedly you will pass. I guarantee it.

Doesn't pass mustard at ASA, we train our pilots well here. (p.s. more than half our airplanes don't have fadec...)

any chance the app might be tailored for Blackberries?

Yeah but it would be nice that they study before coming to a PC.

Mustard, also known as "mustard cream"[1], is a condiment made from the seeds of a mustard plant (white or yellow mustard, Sinapis hirta; brown or Indian mustard, Brassica juncea; or black mustard, Brassica nigra).

or maybe he meant:

Musters: Periodic assessments of the availability of local militia to act as a defence force when needed.[1] To some extent, the system was an outdated remnant of the feudal system where local lords had their own armies, which they provided for the King as required.

A poor attempt at humor I suppose. I know it's "muster" however 50% of the crap on this board which I keep meaning to stop coming to, is incorrect or wrong or has grammar problems (the apostrophe usage is atrocious)

before coming to a PC

totally right, but I was referring to our training program from new hire to FO and FO to Capt.

ANyway, any chance the app might make it to Blackberry?

So much for "free". The app costs $2.99.

The cheapest index cards I could find on the internet were $0.56 for a pack of 100. There are 558 cards in the study guide so it would take 6 packs of the index cards for a net total of $3.36. Add shipping, or, if you want, drive over and pick them up but that may cost another $1. The way I see it, you'll save anywhere between $0.36 and $1.36 if you make the cards yourself not to mention your time.

Anyway, I never said the app was free, I said my labor in making the cards was free. Enjoy.

So when are you making one for the 200? C'mon, none of this half-assed stuff. ;)

Someone else already did, it's in there. A search of ASA in the app brings up CRJ-700/900 Oral Guide, CRJ-700/900 Oral Guide Part II, CRJ-700/900 Recurrent Systems, CRJ-200 Study Guide and CRJ-200 Limitations.

Really? I'll stop being a smartass now and look for it. :cartman:

I purschased the app for $2.99 and it's well worth it! Great guide and a great idea, I appreciate the work you did!
