So does it bother anyone else that ASA is the only DCI carrier that does not have a new Delta Paint job? Not that I feel like the kid who didn't get the candy, but that along with the fact that we have totally stoped re-painting airplanes probably means something. Retireing the old birds? ASA going away.... Let the rumors fly!!

All I've seen are jungle jets rolling around in the new paint. Have Comair and Skypest starting painting theirs too?

I'm pretty sure Expressjet has it on all of their DLC birds...makes sense seeing that they are the newest in the growing list of DLC carriers.

I saw a CRJ the other day painted in the new paint job. I thought it was Skywest but i am not positive.

The flight attendants got a memo that we were going to start repainting airplanes after the summer when things slow down and they don't have to pull airplanes durring the busy season to do it.

Is it just me...or are the F/A's more informed than the pilots over there (I'm assuming this is ASA you're talking about...since this IS ASAinfo.com)?

I dunno but I saw that SW 900 with that eyesore of a paint job the other day. If we could only get paint jobs like that, it would be.... O'tah.

It looks like a "Party Favor" exploded all over that thing!:puke::rolleyes:

I don't know....I'm kinda looking forward to when the APU on that thing craps out in ATL in late summer. What better time of year to send a half-black airplane into the South?

You think the people that designed that paint job even know what an APU is, much less give a ******************** about whether it works or not?

Skywest does not have any aircraft in the new delta paint. As for the 900, it looks like the inside of a wendover hotel. Horrible!

If you really feel the need to fly one of the new paint jobs I hear Freedom is hiring.

If you guys bothered to read the ourasa.com website, you would have read that ASA wouldn't paint any airplanes till after the busy summer season. Everyone was given that information, but the pilot group fails to read it.

No sir, I don't believe it's not that the pilots failed to read it. It's that the pilot group fails to believe in anything ASA mismanagement reports or says.

Dude, that new 900 is the paint job equivalent of a mullet....Business up front, Party in the back!

Sweeeet! :pimp:

I was in BNA about a month ago when that thing was taxing out. The controller said to them"Skywest XXXX that's an interesting paint job you've guys got there. I can't quite read what the writing on the side says. What does it say?" Without hesitation, someone chimed in on the frequency, "Skywhores, flying for 50-seat pay." Got a good chuckle out of that one.
